Jazz is in my mind! And after publishing there is more in my mind...

So what am I thinking about today? How awesome the Utah Jazz are of course. So here is the deal. They have the best home record in the league. They arguably have the worst road record among the teams in the playoffs. We beat Houston tonight, if the playoffs started now as of tonight we would play Houston in the first round and have home court advantage. We have the same record, but we beat them more this year so we have the advantage. We have one more game on the season though against San Antonio which we are trailing by one game. If we beat them then we would have third place and also get home court against them. They would be our first round match up. The problem with our one remaining game, is it is in San Antonio and the Jazz have not won there in nine years. If we lose we would also lose our advantage on Houston so we would start the playoffs in Houston but they would have the home court advantage. So for those of you that don't like sports, or maybe just don't care for the NBA the easy way to say it, is that there are a lot of things that can happen in two days and it is intense but we could really use home court advantage because of the whole we are best at home and probably worst on the road. There now I got it all out and we will see what happens.
As far as school, it is not on my mind. I could not stand being there today with it being 70 outside. I was so restless within 10 minutes of my school day. Physics was about waves, which is less exciting than some of the things we have learned, and Human Factors was good because we learned about the importance of display/control integration inside the cockpit but....it was 70 dang it. So add the great weather to the following quote. This quote describes how I feel about college anyways. It seems robotic and I already have all the games down how to get an A and the professors have given up and hand out A's at the rate my tax money is spent on Earmarks, that means a lot. I swear to you, I learn more on a daily basis through my own curiosities than I do in any given week in college.

I have been worried about my future career path with Aloha, ATA, Skybus, and Frontier all filing bankruptcy this month. The Delta/Northwest merge will also not help with the pilot situation. Instructors here are already talking about making sure they have instructing jobs for the long haul which will back up the system for those of us looking to graduate in the next yearish time. Needless to say my little inkling of consideration for law school is growing by the hour. Now I am pretty convinced I will go ahead with it because this whole airline, economy thing is a joke.
Also the 123teachme.com link I put up, I also found out it is the Spanish they speak in Spain not Mexico, so that probably won't help me too much on the home front so I'm going to bag that one.

And let's not forget the Youtube obsession today....

I don't love accordians, and I dislike country, but I do like talent.
