Lazy Saturday

Today Nate and I spent our first winter day cuddled up in our apartment all day. The only time we left was to get drive through McDonalds...it was a fabulous day.

We woke up around 10:00 this morning and moved all the way to our couch in the living room. Our friends Scott and Emma convinced us last night that we should invest some money into a Netflix subscription. One nice thing about Netflix for us is that we're able to hook up our laptop to our tv and watch movies instantly from the Netflix website. (Netflix should be paying me right now for name-dropping them about a half dozen times) We added some movies to our queue list, and then started watching some of our own. I know a lot of you will think this is super pathetic, but Nate and I watched four movies today. Yes, four. The first one we watched was Bridge to Teribithia. It was a nice movie, really let out your imagination...but had kind of a crappy ending. The second movie we watched was Superbad, it was super-lame (haha funny joke). The third was a movie neither of us had ever heard of called Outsourced. It's about a VP in a sales company who gets sent to India to help their outsourced call center get their performance up. It was a fantastic movie but we weren't too crazy about the ending on that one either. In between the 3rd and 4th movie we decided to run to McDonald's for our early dinner. It made me feel kind of bloated and unhealthy, which is to be expected from eating there, but it's Monopoly time at McDonald's again and Nate and I already have two out of the three red-orange pieces so we were pretty excited about that! If any of you have any red-orange pieces you've got to let us know and we can all split the $5000! Anyway, the 4th movie we watched was Across the Universe which is such a great movie! Nate and I have both seen it before but we really enjoyed it again! We gave it 5 stars.. We just love all the music and the renditions of the Beatles songs...so great - we highly recommend it to everyone!

I'm trying really hard to keep up with the blogging thing, I know I fell behind a little bit the past couple of weeks, but I'm trying to catch up again. Nate's brother, Jake, leaves on his mission in a little over a month! It's exciting for him but a little sad too, it will be weird to just have it be me, Nate, and Jared. Things will probably be pretty quiet for the next year. Justin's almost halfway through! A week from yesterday will be his one year mark! Yay for Justin! It will be so great when he comes home, life will be super fun again! Everyone knows it, things just aren't the same when Justin's not around. And the same will go for Jake too, he's just so fun all the time and it's really fun for me and Nate to be able to double with Jake and one of the many girls he goes out with these days!

Anywho, it's getting sort of late and, of course, Nate and I are stuck with morning church now so I think I'm going to call it a night. Hope all of our blog-readers are doing well!

Bears and Cities

The "Hood" ain't good for nobody yo!
This is from a study done by livescience.com. "As bears spend more time near cities, they gain weight, get pregnant at a younger age and die young, violent deaths." I just had to share that. I guess we will have to send them all to planned parenthood and ban guns or something.

I KNOW YOU WANT MORE!
